Participants will set off on bicycles from an appointed place and follow a route that takes them past a number of locations of which old photographs are preserved in the De Boer Collection. Aim is to jointly discover where the photographs were taken and to photograph these locations again. read more |

| |  | | Inkijk # 21: Blond 09.10.2003 - 01.11.2003 De Inkijk For the 'Blond' project De Inkijk was transformed into a fully equipped hairdressing saloon, where the usual hairdressing advertisements are replaced by photos of works of art in which ‘being blond’ plays a role. In this hairdressing saloon people can have their hair professionally bleached for free. read more |

 | | Inkijk # 12: Zandpad 3 08.05.2002 - 30.06.2002 De Inkijk For 'Inkijk # 12: Zandpad 3', Dirk Kome made a series of photographs at the local funeral home. The theme for his photographs was not so much death or dying. Kome wanted to capture a space where and a profession in which waiting makes up an important part of the daily routine. This resulted in a series of ten images, mainly of interiors. read more |
| |  | | Inkijk # 7 07.09.2001 - 14.10.2001 De Inkijk The work that Liedeke Kruk created for 'Inkijk # 7' at De Inkijk consists of two larger-than-life photographic portraits. A giant woman and child look out of their proportionately tiny house at the traffic that speeds by on the Stadhouderskade and straight into the observer’s eyes. This work toys with and enhances the strange proportions that the house already possesses. read more |

 | | Inkijk # 4: Presentation of a work for the rehabilitation center, Breda 12.04.2001 - 20.05.2001 De Inkijk Sylvie Zijlmans and Hewald Jongenelis were approached to make a presentation of their work for Breda’s rehabilitation center at De Inkijk. Two of the photographs that they made for the center are on display, both printed on translucent plastic. At night the house is brightly lit up so that the images could be clearly seen during day and night. read more |
| |  | | Rehabilitation Centre, Breda Revant Revalidatiecentrum Breda Sylvie Zijlmans and Hewald Jongenelis were asked to make a proposition for an art project at the Revalidatiecentrum Breda (rehabilitation centre at Breda), that has been renovated and expanded recently. What makes this centre special is that is not only a place for rehabilitation, but there is also a workplace present were orthopaedic parts are made. read more |

Photography and the creation of an image of the landscape Stimulated by the mass media, there exists a popular romantic-sentimental image of the Dutch landscape that hardly tallies with reality. A stream of images maintains the myth of unspoilt nature and landscape. This media-generated representation is so strong that we keep projecting it onto that which we encounter in reality. According to Frits Gierstberg photography is able to disturb this cliched image and incite a different view of reality. read more |
